Connect your own assistant
Hang Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor onto your site — with a key you can revoke at any time.
1 What this is
The assistant in the previous chapter is ours. This one is yours: you connect the AI tool you already use to your website and tell it “write me a page about window cleaning” or “make the homepage shorter”. The technical name is MCP; for you it means entering an address and a key.
2 Issuing the key
At the bottom of Einstellungen (settings) sits the Assistent verbinden section. Give it a name you will recognise later (“Anna’s Claude”) and choose what it may do: darf ändern (may change) works in the draft, darf veröffentlichen (may publish) puts changes on the web. Then Schlüssel ausstellen (issue key).
3 It is shown exactly once
We store only a checksum, never the key itself. So copy it straight away — once the box is closed it cannot be shown again and the only way on is a new key. Einrichtung kopieren (copy setup) puts the whole entry your tool expects on the clipboard.
4 Entering it in your tool
In Claude Desktop and most other clients this goes into the settings under “Connectors”, or into the configuration file:
After that your assistant knows your pages, blocks, images and records.
{"mcpServers": {"my-website": {"url": "https://mcp.sitefl0w.de/mcp", "headers": {"Authorization": "Bearer sfa_…"}}}}After that your assistant knows your pages, blocks, images and records.
5 What it may and may not do
Everything it writes lands in the draft — your website does not change. Only publishing makes it visible, and for that it has to ask twice: first it shows you what would change, and only then may it publish. If it changes anything in between, the approval expires and it has to ask again. It may not invent prices, opening hours or phone numbers; check them anyway.
6 Revoking
In the same section, every key carries Widerrufen (revoke). From that click on, this assistant no longer reaches your website — at once, with no detour. It cannot be undone; anyone who needs access again gets a new key. Treat the key like a password and give it to nobody you would not also give your editing account to.
